Yonie Young is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in California and New York. She obtained a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, and is a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Her clinical background includes training and practice in both Chinese as well as Japanese styles of acupuncture, externships at St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center, and at the Women's Disabilities Clinic in New York. She also had the opportunity to study at the Wang Ju Yi Center for Clinical Channel Theory Research in Beijing, China.

Yonie received her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science from UC Berkeley. She was born and raised locally, in Atwater, where her parents currently reside. She and her husband recently moved to Stockton, CA where she has opened a Community Acupuncture clinic in addition to her private practice in Merced.

Yonie enjoys practicing yoga, tennis, traveling, taking care of her two dogs, and spending time with her family.
